I’m Jen Ramos Eisen, a Central California- and Las Vegas-based baseball labor & economics journalist. I have written about Minor League Baseball — and more specifically, the California League — since 2013 and expanded to include coverage of the Athletics and general MLB in 2025.

I am a 2015 graduate of Mills College with a degree in English and did minors in journalism and economics, before going to USC Annenberg for an M.S. in journalism that I received in 2016. I am an drop out of Oregon State’s Master of Public Policy program, where I did a focus on rural public policy, land use, and social services; and helped develop a housing policy course as part of my studies.
